Vera LOPATINA, violin
Vera LOPATINA was born in St. Petersburg in 1989. She started violin at the age of 5 with Professor T. Liberova and continued her musical studies in Moscow at a high school specialized with Professor Vladimir Ivanov. She gave her first recital at the age of 9.
In 2008, Vera entered the CNSMDP in the Régis Pasquier class and, four years later, she received a Master's degree unanimously.
Vera Lopatina is the winner of numerous international competitions such as the Andrea Postakkini competition in Fermo, Italy, The International Competition of Young Violinists in Kloster-Schonthal, Germany, The 5th International Competition of Pianists and Chamber Sets named after MV Yudina in St. Petersburg, The Canetti Competition in Cremona in Italy ...
Vera Lopatina performs in most reknown venues of St. Petersburg and Moscow as well as in France, Belgium, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Germany, China ... She has participated in numerous festivals such as the Rencontres Musicales Internationales des Graves, Festival de la Roque d'Anthéron, Festival Cully classique (Cully, Switzerland), The Stars of Baikal (Irkutsk, Russia), Young soloists of the 21st century "(Saint Petersburg, Russia) ...
Vera Lopatina devotes a lot of time to chamber music. In 2006, she has won the First prize at the Concertino International Chamber Music Competition in Prague (Czech Republic). In September 2013 she was awarded with the 'Ravel Academy Award' by the City of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. In April 2014, she was invited to the "Printemps de l'Académie" in chamber music with Jean-François Heisser and Miguel Da Silva.
In 2013, with the pianist Olga Kirpicheva and the cellist Jeremy Genet, Vera Lopatina created the Trio Medici with which she gave numerous concerts in France (Auditorium du Louvre, Philharmonie de Paris, Salle Gaveau ...) and abroad. In March 2015, the Trio Medici won the 2nd Prize at the 6th International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition in Vienna, Austria and in July of the same year the 2nd Prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Melbourne, Australia.
Vera Lopatina plays an anonymous violin of the eighteenth century loaned by the Ravel Foundation.
